Some felt like the love story and predictable ending were a bit too corny, but if you couldn't get enough of the adorable cheesiness, we have good news. Get ready, hopeless romantics and Christmas-lovers: Netflix has just announced that "A Christmas Prince" is getting a sequel.The second installment of the holiday movie will be titled "A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding." It will follow the previous film's two main characters, journalist Amber, played by Rose McIver, and Prince Richard, played by Ben Lamb, as they plan their nuptials. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the sequel will pick up a year after Amber helped Richard secure the crown. The couple plans to marry at Christmastime, but Amber finds herself with pre-wedding jitters and doesn't know if she's really cut out to be queen of Aldovia. Richard, on the other hand, is dealing with a crisis that could jeopardize the wedding, as well as the future of the kingdom.And while Netflix doesn't release viewing data, they did make a slight dig at a couple of binge-watchers last year who proved just how obsessed people were with this movie. They also released this clip to promote the actual royal wedding, as well as the sequel:No official release date has been announced, but more likely than not, the film will come out before the holidays.
