Married At First Sight Australia couple Richard and Andrea had every MAFS fan hoping they would make their relationship work, and while the pair seemed to be a perfect fit - they had quite the downward spiral.

Things were going well until Richard Sauerman, 63, made some explicit comments about the couple's sex life during a commitment ceremony. Andrea was unable to move past it and their relationship broke down, ultimately resulting in their early exit from the show.

So what have the couple been up to since the end of the filming? There have been rumours of a budding romances with other co-stars - and one move has reportedly left Andrea feeling 'humiliated'.

The "young at heart" couple suffered some bumps in the road during their time on the show. After some pretty explosive arguments, the pair both decided to call it quits relatively early on.

Since the show wrapped on filimg, rumours circulated that Andrea was dating MAFS groom Timothy, who was originally paired with Lucinda Light. The theories came after a video taken by Andrea circulated online while she and daughter Indi were watching the final vows episode.

"We're watching Jack and Tori's final vows, Indi and I," Andrea explained before she panned the camera to show Timothy asleep on her sofa. "With Timmy," she said. "And, he's so into it he's fallen asleep. He's that bored."

However, Andrea quickly shut down the rumours and said they're just "beautiful friends". She stressed there's "nothing romantic there" before calling Timothy a "rock" and claiming the best part of the experiment was making friends. The pair were also pictured going shopping on Chapel St in Melbourne last week, Yahoo reports.

Andrea's friendships with other co-stars appear to be going strong too, as she recently posted a series of snaps with co-stars. In one photo, she can be seen posing with fellow brides Lucinda and Ellie, and captioned the post: "We are on the other side now. The people with hearts find each other. Love you girls."

In another, Andrea reflected on her time and wrote: "What a ride. I have zero regrets. I would have loved to walk out with the love of my life but I met Lucinda and that trumps EVERYTHING! Richard and I had soooo many laughs and such a good time until the last couple of weeks.

"We made the best decision for us and I wish him nothing but the best. I learned a bunch not only from my relationship but also watching the others. Choose kindness and always be learning about yourself and who you are. Lulu, Timmy, Jono, Cass, Mike, Ellie, Eden, Tristan and Stephen. People with the most genuine, beautiful hearts and you are my forever friends."

According to Capital, Richard has been spotted with numerous brides from the show since filmed ended, leaving Andrea feeling "humiliated". A source said: "You really have to feel for Andrea. It can't have felt good watching her groom drape himself all over these younger women." The groom also hasn't shared any photos with any of his co-stars since leaving the show.

While we would have loved to watch the pair hash out their troubles once more, it's been reported that we won't get to see them on our screens tonight. According In an interview on Yahoo! Australia's podcast Behind The Edit, Richard revealed: "We were filmed that night. They filmed six couples but only five went to air, we didn't go to air."

When asked what viewers missed, Richard said: "They missed the six minute highlight reel of our relationship. Why it didn’t go to air I have no idea, I think you might want to ask Andie that question. Maybe she has an answer to that."
