Outlaw Beauty Bar Float

Outlaw Beauty Bar made history at this year’s Cave Creek Rodeo Days Parade, becoming one of the first beauty salons and beauty industry providers to participate in the annual event. With a dazzling gold mining-themed float, the salon showcased its signature blend of Western heritage and glamour, capturing the attention of paradegoers.

The float featured team members dressed in gold sequin dresses, evoking the allure of precious metals mined in Arizona’s past. Adding a rugged touch to the display, a gold miner character and a vintage sawed-off shotgun, provided by Mr. Gunz Firearms, complemented the striking aesthetic. A live haircut also took place on the float as Outlaw Beauty Bar’s senior stylist and barber Marina Ferguson performed a live men's haircut on the parade float.

The float itself was originally crafted from papier-mâché using recycled issues of local newspapers, but an unexpected challenge arose when javelinas devoured it the night before the parade and the driver didn’t show up the morning of the parade. Despite these setbacks, the Outlaw Beauty Bar team persevered, ensuring their participation remained flawless.

The theme, “Making You Look as Good as Gold,” embodied the salon’s mission to empower individuals through beauty and self-expression. Outlaw Beauty Bar, known for its fusion of classic Hollywood glamour and Wild West grit, offers expert hair, lash, brow and skin treatments using award-winning products.

By taking part in the parade, Outlaw Beauty Bar set a precedent for the beauty industry’s involvement in community traditions, proving that creativity, resilience and a little gold dust can leave a lasting impression on Cave Creek’s cultural landscape.
