BETHLEHEM, Pa. — The Boston University men's tennis team dropped a 4-0 decision to the Army West Point Black Knights at Lehigh on Friday afternoon.
The Black Knights (11-4, 4-1 PL) won the doubles point easily before taking singles four, five and six en route to a win over the Terriers (0-10, 0-3 PL), leaving singles one through three incomplete.
BU had just five active players for the match, meaning the Black Knights only needed to win one doubles match to secure the doubles point.
The Black Knights also won by default at sixth singles. At line five, BU freshman
Jaydon Barki battled but fell 2-6, 4-6. At third singles, graduate student
Jonah Dickson won the first set 6-1 and dropped the second set 4-6, but the third set went unfinished. Senior
Cole Knutsen won set one 7-5 before his match went unfinished at line two.
BU continues the weekend of Patriot League action at Lafayette on Saturday, April 5 at 2 p.m. and will travel to Lehigh on Sunday, April 6 at 10 a.m.
