Giant butterflies, gravity-defying circus stunts and a wizard named Spring? It can only mean one thing — Easter is taking over Wookey Hole and it promises a cracking time for all.

From Saturday, April 5 to Monday, April 21, the popular Somerset attraction will be bursting with seasonal surprises, from stilt walkers and fantastical fairies to cave explorations and chocolate-fuelled fun.

Visitors can expect a jam-packed Easter programme, with three daily circus performances at 12pm, 1pm and 2pm showcasing aerial acrobatics and daring stunts. Meanwhile, the 4D cinema will be screening family favourite The Lost World throughout the day.

Above ground, guests can mingle with magical characters, including giant butterflies and a very special Spring Wizard, while taking part in nature-themed Easter trails. Those who complete the trail will be rewarded with a free Easter treat.

But the adventures do not stop there. Families can delve below ground to uncover the stories and secrets of the ancient caves beneath the Mendip Hills.
