THAT WERE A MIX OF VERY COLD RAIN AND THEN A QUICK BURST OF SOME WET SNOWFLAKES THAT ARE ALMOST GOING TO MELT ON CONTACT. NOT REALLY STICKING MUCH, BUT WE MAY PICK UP A LITTLE BIT OF ACCUMULATION ON THE GRASS UPPER LEVEL SURFACES LIKE THE ROOFS. ROAD CONDITIONS SHOULD BE FINE, BUT YEAH, IT’S A LITTLE STUBBORN. BAND THROUGH 7 A.M. ONCE WE GET PAST 7 A.M., WE’RE GOING TO START TO GET A LITTLE BIT OF DAYTIME HEAT. THIS IS GOING TO START TO SHIFT OUT AFTER 9:10 A.M., AND WE’RE PRETTY MUCH DONE BY 12:00 NOON. SO FOR NOW, FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE MORNING, WE’RE GOING TO SIT UNDERNEATH THIS MIXED BAND. IT’S NOT GOING TO BE ALL SNOW. IT’S NOT GOING TO BE ALL RAIN. MANY OF YOU IN THE OKC METRO DON’T SEE ANY SNOW AT ALL, BUT SOME ARE DEFINITELY SEEING SNOW OR AT LEAST A MIX. AND THAT’S WHERE IT’S GOING TO BE. SOMEWHERE IN THAT HIGH CONFIDENCE RANGE. MAYBE NOT A 100% CHANCE, BUT SOMEWHERE IN THAT HIGHER CONFIDENCE RANGE. SNOWFALL ALMOST EXCLUSIVELY OUT WEST COMING TO AN END AS WE GO THROUGH THE MID-MORNING. WE’RE NOT OUT PROBABLY TILL ABOUT MAYBE 10:11 A.M. HERE IN CENTRAL OKLAHOMA. AND YES, THE ACCUMULATION IS REAL SLUSHY ON THE GRASS UPPER LEVEL SURFACES. IT’S LESS THAN AN INCH. WOULDN’T SURPRISE ME TO PICK UP A QUICK HALF INCH TO INCH OF THE SLUSHY SNOW, BUT MOSTLY UNDER AN INCH BECAUSE IT’S GOING TO BE MELTING PROBABLY FASTER THAN IT ACCUMULATES ON THE GROUND. THAT’S GOING TO BE TOUGH TO MEASURE, AND THE ROAD IMPACT WILL BE PRETTY LOW. SO WE’RE GOING TO SEE SOME OF THAT THROUGH THE MORNING HOURS. SUN COMES OUT, WE’RE UP NEAR 50 LATER TODAY. IT’S GOING TO BE A CHILLY DAY. IT’S GOING TO BE FREEZING TONIGHT INTO MONDAY MORNING. I’M METEOROLOGIST JOSEPH NEUBAUER AND WE’RE GOING TO BE TRACKING THE SNOW LIVE ON RADAR FROM 5 A.M. TO 7 A.M. ALSO 8 A.M. TO 9 A.M. I’M ALSO ON ALL OF THESE SHOWS LATER ON HERE ON KOCO FIVE. GOING TO TELL YOU WHAT NEXT WEEK LOOKS LIKE. DO WE FINALLY DITCH T
