Larry Lamb has ruled out a return to the main Strictly Come Dancing series, after a challenging experience during the Christmas Special.
The Gavin and Stacey star performed in the 2022 festive episode alongside his professional dance partner Nadiya Bychkova.
After performing an American Smooth to Michael Buble's A Winter Wonderland, the pair were awarded an impressive 31 out of 40 points from the four judges.
Away from their on-screen chemistry and smiles however, Larry says he had "a meltdown" half an hour before the performance as he couldn't remember the routine.
Reflecting on his time on Strictly, he remarked: "I won't be doing that again, dear oh dear."
Larry went on to say dancing in such an environment was "not for me" and admits he found the concept of the show "nerve-wracking".
Praising Nadiya for getting him through it, he added: "I was very lucky with Nadiya [teaching] me because she's a wonderful teacher, but I won't be doing that again."
Recounting the tense moments before going on stage, he said: "It was a miracle I got through it I tell you. Half an hour before I was due to go on and do it, I was freaking out, I'd forgotten everything.

"She was like, 'No come on, let's just go through it', and it was just one of those things where she got me in the right mental frame of mind, and it worked when it needed to work, but it was a very close run thing, I tell you."
Larry said looking back on his performance, it was "interesting" to see how well he had managed to hide his true feelings.
"That was the interesting thing, and when I looked at it afterwards, there's no sense of you being in meltdown there at all," he added.
While he has ruled out a return to the dance floor, he believes his Gavin and Stacey co-stars could be up for it, particularly Alison Steadman.
"I know Ali would be really good, she's a good dancer," he said. "They can all dance, so I don't know.
"I enjoyed doing it. I like the idea of it, [but] I couldn't have done the full thing. Doing that Christmas special, that was enough," he continued.
"You've got three weeks to learn one dance. They [the participants on the main show] have to learn one every week."

In collaboration with Greene King Pubs, Larry is promoting The Sipping Forecast, an initiative aimed at enhancing the pub garden experience regardless of the weather.
As part of the 'When It Rains, We Pour' campaign, 100,000 free pints will be up for grabs from April 3rd to 10th.
Customers can claim their complimentary pint simply by asking, "It's raining, can I have a free pint?" at the bar as soon as they spot raindrops.
