The score written by Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II includes such well known songs as “My Favorite Things,” “Do-Re-Mi,” “Sixteen Going on Seventeen,” “Climb Ev’ry Mountain” and the title tune. The film, starring Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer, is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year.
Adult rehearsals will be scheduled Monday through Friday nights, with occasional Saturdays. Rehearsals for the von Trapp children will be scheduled in the late afternoon or early evening.

Childs and Stefan Uveges serve as choreographers for the musical. For further information visit the Phelps-Clifton Springs Community Theatre’s Facebook page.
